What we did

New Title, Logo, and Approach

Our new colourful branding, simplified programme name and expanded themes made the programme more engaging, accessible and relevant for teachers and a broader range of pupils. Following delivery of on-point concepts for new name and branding, the Real Nation design team lead development of new website for easier navigation and accessibility. All resources developed were classroom ready with engaging themes.

A strong focus on social media promotion to teachers helped in attracting new audiences. The organisation and delivery of a high-energy, child-focused National Final Awards ceremony for 350 attendees by our Events team was well received by our client, pupils and their teachers.

The Challenge

Transforming the Brand for Renewed Connection

Rebrand the programme to create a fresher, more engaging appeal that resonates with a wider audience of schools. The goal was to re-invigorate and re-energize the programme in a post-Covid context, making it feel relevant, vibrant, and inspiring for today’s pupils and teachers.

With teachers now facing a constant stream of initiatives and resources, the refreshed programme must stand out in a busy and competitive space, capturing attention and delivering clear value.

The outcome / impact

Entry numbers more than doubled

Following a huge team effort across our business, we saw a significant increase in direct engagement with schools, supported by incredibly positive feedback from teachers. This led to a higher number of schools participating in the programme and more than double the number going the extra mile to submit creative, passionate projects.

These outstanding entries were showcased at our National Finals, where children had the opportunity to present their work to all attendees, making for a memorable day filled with fun, inspiration, and a deeper understanding of GCE.
