FÉILTE. Irish Teaching Festival

Growing exponentially from just over 500 to nearly 1500 attendees .

FÉILTE is the Teaching Council’s annual Festival of Education in Learning and Teaching Excellence. A celebration of teaching and learning that gives teachers the opportunity to collaborate and share their work with each other and with the wider public.

Client: The Teaching Council

The new approach paid off, and the event started to grow exponentially from just over 500 to nearly 1500 attendees (including a large international audience), and outwards from the RDS in Dublin in 2017, to Mary Immaculate in Limerick in 2018, to NUI Galway in 2019 Galway and then to the Aviva Stadium as a virtual offering in 2020.

Going Virtual!

Moving online (as a result of COVID-19) did not prevent FÉILTE 2020 featuring a packed programme full of live and interactive content. In fact, the event offered more choice than ever and received praise for facilitating live interactive connectivity between speakers, participants and attendees.

Hosted by Real Nation, the live virtual events platform included:

The event drew its largest numbers to date, with over 1,500 attendees tuning in live from all around the World, from Ireland to France, South Africa, Australia and many more!

This is an event that is close to Real Nations hearts – it is ambitious and forward thinking and celebrates everything good in teaching and learning.
